London – An American of 63 years, working on development projects in the troubled tribal areas of Pakistan, was abducted in the northern city of Lahore, local police sources. Police identified the man as Justin Wiener “JE Warner”, who was taken from his residence in the area of Model Town by a group of 10 armed men.
The responsibility of the police investigation, Abdul Razaq Cheema, Superintendent said that a group of about 10 people entered the home of the victim, in the area of Model Town, and took him to the force.
Cheema said that all the guards and servants are in custody and will be questioned, while the police investigates the reasons that led to the abduction and collects information.

The kidnappings are relatively common in Pakistan, however foreigners are often a target for criminal gangs.
